Just in time for the spooky season, the Boston Globe reports that a modern-day Headless Horseman ... riding a steed of the two-wheel pedaled breed ... has been seen haunting the streets of Concord, Mass. in recent days. Apparently, 38-year-old Matthew Dunkle began riding about town in his Headless Horseman costume, strumming a guitar as he makes his way through traffic, as a statement on the state of affairs amid the pandemic, and he's continued because of the smiles his rides have brought to the people who encounter him on the street. Given the divisiveness, the ugliness and the negativity of so many these days, Concord's Headless Horseman turns out to be a bright light in the darkness.
